Creative arts is mandatory for students from Kindergarten to Year 6.
In creative arts, students discover a variety of art forms through a study of dance, drama, music and visual arts where they learn to appreciate, compose, listen, make and perform.
Each art form has its own unique knowledge and skills, elements or concepts as well as a capacity to inspire and enrich lives.
Annual Banora Rocks
An annual performance involving dance, choral, instrumental and verse recital takes place in the 2nd half of each year.
Dance
Dance troupes represent our school at the North Coast dance festival and the Gold Coast Eisteddfod.
Band
We offer an instrumental program for students in Year 3 - Year 6. These students have tuition from a private tutor and form part of our 2 school bands who perform at school events, concerts and eisteddfods.
