Moving to high school
At Banora Point Public School, we provide a clear, connected pathway from primary to high school, working in strong partnership with our local high schools to ensure every student transitions with confidence, continuity and success.
We recognise that the move to high school is a significant milestone. Through a structured and comprehensive transition program, we prepare our students socially, emotionally and academically for the increased independence and expectations of secondary school.
Our close partnerships with Banora Point High School and Tweed River High School allow us to share detailed student information, ensuring each school has a strong understanding of every student’s strengths, learning needs and wellbeing. This enables targeted support and continuity of learning from the very beginning of Year 7.
Through this collaborative approach, our students enter high school feeling confident, capable and ready to succeed.
